Ahmed A. Zewail received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in electrical engineering from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in 2011, the M.Sc. degree in wireless communications from Nile University, Giza, Egypt, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree from Pennsylvania State University, in 2019. His M.Sc. thesis focused on the capacity and degrees of freedom of relay networks. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on secrecy guarantees in emerging networks, e.g., untrusted relay networks and cache-aided networks. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Research Assistant with the Wireless Intelligence Networks Center (WINC), Nile University. From 2013 to 2019, he was a Research Assistant with the Wireless Communications and Networking (WCAN) Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University. He is currently with Qualcomm Technologies Inc., San Diego, CA, USA. His research interests include network information theory, cache-aided networks, wireless communications, and physical-layer security. His graduation project was about developing warehouse management systems using RFID and received the first place in INDAC-Siemens 2011 Competition.
