Ahmed Badr

Postdoctoral Fellow

Ahmed Badr received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt in 2007, a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Nile University, Egypt in 2009 and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Toronto, Canada in 2014. From September 2007 to August 2009, he was a Research Assistant in the Wireless Intelligent Networks Center (WINC), Nile University. From September 2009 to January 2014, he was a Research Assistant at Signals Multimedia and Security Laboratory in University of Toronto while pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. In February 2014, he assumed his current position as a Postdoctoral Fellow in collaboration with Hewlett Packard-Canada. His research interests include information theory, coding theory and wireless communications.
