He is a Assistant Professor of ECE at UNC Charlotte, his research was in information theory, wireless communications, communication networks, and signal processing. Recently, He have been working on projects pertaining to federated learning, timely information processing and transfer (age-of-information), information-theoretic security and privacy, energy harvesting communications.
